Vision

Regent Christian Online Academy supports Christian families as they fulfill their mandate to train their children according to Biblical principles.  We form a team in partnership with families that is committed to excellence in education, to high moral and ethical standards, and to the development of genuine Christian character.  We emphasize individualized learning within the safe, nurturing environment of your home.  We support parents as they challenge and equip their children to respond to God's call as Christian leaders in a changing global community.

Mission

The mission of Regent Christian Academy is to support Christian families as they provide Christ-centered, quality education in a nurturing home environment.  Our professional Christian teachers and Administration Team are dedicated to helping you choose resources and activities that reinforce Biblical values and to build Godly character, with a goal to raising up young people equipped to positively impact society.

  • Biblical Stewardship
To acknowledge that we are accountable to God for the responsible management of our lives and resources.
  • Vocational Preparation
To assist students to respond to God's call upon their lives.

We at RCOA also believe that academics are an avenue that has the ability to develop Christian character. The development of good study habits, goal setting, and personal integrity is paramount.

The academic policies of RCOA are founded upon the following principles:

Responsibility - All persons in our school have specific responsibilities to fulfill towards themselves and each other. God charges parents with the ultimate responsibility to train their children. Deuteronomy 6:7.

Individuality - We recognize that not all students have equal aptitudes or interests, yet all are equally responsible to be faithful in using what God has given them.

Accountability - As a ministry that supports home learning families, we, and the parents, are accountable to God for the training of our students as far as our scope of influence extends into their lives.

Discipleship - Although we are individually responsible for our own actions, we are able to shape one anothers' lives for good through correction, exhortation, and encouragement.

In addition to each family's personalized Christian Studies program, students enrolled with RCOA are able to bring a biblical perspective integrated into the British Columbia curriculum through the use of Christian Resources in all subject areas.  Our goal is to facilitate quality education and to develop biblically creative and constructively thinking young people; young people  who are prepared for vocational callings and other God-given responsibilities in life.
