Scott graduated from Calvin College in 1994 and taught for 12 years in Christian Schools.  He finished his Masters in Administration & Leadership through Gonzaga University and was a Christian school principal for 6 years.  Scott has been with RCOA for one year and will be teaching & coordinating the Langley and Mission Resource Centres.  His wife, Amy will be team-teaching with Scott at the Mission Resource Centre...and they are enjoying a second year of homeschooling their own children.  In the fall, the Vandenbergs are heading out on a US History trip for 3 weeks.

God has been working in Scott's life in stretching and challenging him to go where he never would have imagined he was going to go!  Scott feels very blessed and is thankful to God in how He has taken care of the family through the ups and downs of life.
