Margaret has spent the last 27 years in Port Alberni, with many varied teaching and organizing experiences, both in Christian schooling, the Public schools, and church. Her education degree from the University of Victoria was in Math and French, but she has taken many courses in a variety of other subjects.  While raising her children, she worked as a substitute teacher in most subjects, but mostly French Immersion, Programme Cadre and core French, from Grades K-12. She has been teaching at Port Alberni Christian School since its inception in 1994, and have been its Principal since 2004. Her classes have always been multi-graded and she have taught most subjects from Gr. 3-9, with some time also in K- Gr.2. She has had experience working with homeschooling families and she have always been very involved with the education of her own children, especially with her son whom she taught in varying degrees throughout his eight years with PACS. Her and husband have  loved Port Alberni but are looking forward to our new life in Victoria, especially as two of our three children will also be living here, as well as other family and friends. Margaret also is excited at this new teaching experience with RCOA and at meeting her new students and families.
