He Is
Hebrews 11:6 NIV: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Are there any who come to God, yet do not believe that He exists? Certainly. Many have come to God at various times and in different ways, and yet have not believed that He is. This is perhaps found nowhere greater than in the words, "God... If you´re up there..." The writer tells us "without faith it is impossible to please God." We not only must believe that He exists, but that He is faithful - that what He has said, He will do. To believe He exists, means we acknowledge His presence as we walk through our day. We recognize He is with us every step - watching, protecting, directing and loving us as we go. And that no matter what may be, He is.
