RCOA is a Group I (K-12) Christian Distributed Learning School fully authorized by the Ministry of Education (Office of the Inspector of Independent Schools). We believe it is our goal and mandate to support Christian families as they “train up their children” according to biblical principles. Before filling out our online application forms each family should read thoroughly over Vision and Mission For Students that includes our Core Values and Academic Principles as well as our Statement of Faith.

If you are in agreement with who we are, then please proceed to our Home Learning Options page to determine which kind of learning at home is best for your family. If you choose to be a Registered Homeschooler, then please proceed to our HS Registration page. If, however, you have decided that you are interested in being a Distributed Learning family, then please read first our Student Learning Plans page. This will prepare you for the responsibilities of DL. Then please refer to our Reimbursement Policy and the Resource Centre page. After being fully informed of the responsibilities and benefits, please then proceed to the DL Enrolment page. Please fill out the online form and send that to us. If accepted, you will receive a confirming letter within 1 to 2 days. Please be aware that in order to receive educational benefits from the British Columbia Ministry of Education, each parent will have to provide:

1) A photocopy of the child’s birth certificate
2) Medical emergency numbers
3) Health concerns information
4) Doctor’s name and contact numbers
5) Care card number
6) Guardian’s home and work contact information
7) Parent/Guardian verification

i) Lawfully admitted to Canada
ii) Resident of British Columbia

A request for these forms will be sent to you once your enrolment as a DL family has been confirmed.

On behalf of the staff, I welcome you to the ministry of Regent Christian Online Academy. May the Lord honour and bless our working together.

Mr. Mark Langley Principal – RCOA
